The Algerian players will not offer their cash reward to the population of Gaza

The tweet relaying of what Islam Slimani would have required concerning the payment of their reward for Gaza is fake. It has, however, spread out around the world.

The Algerian players had decided to donate their cash reward to the people of Gaza, according to the messages which have spread on social networks. But according to the latest information, this rumour seems to be false.

At the time where other African teams like Ghana and Cameroon have been squabbling for their financial dues for their participation in the World Cup, the Algerian selection announced that they would make good use of their own. The Algerian attacker Islam Slimani would have entrusted the journalist Waleed Abu Nada that all the players on the team will give their cash reward to the population of Gaza.

But according to the latest information gathered by another journalist, who is specialist in the Algerian team , this testimony has no source. No source for the quote, 'They need it more than us.' Nothing in Algerian press, and the FAF haven't said anything either.

The total amount of cash reward is up to 8 million Swiss francs. During the triumphal procession of the Algerian team in their return to the capital, a Palestinian flag was displayed on the bus by a player of the team.

Qualified for the first time in their history to the 2nd round of the World Cup, the Algeria team has seduced an entire generation. By their qualities on the field, but also outside the Pitch, the team have earned their heroic home tour bus in Algeria.
