Luka Modrić "Dortmund counter-attacks are dangerous"

Modric had some bad memories from last year's Champions League semi-final against Dortmund's counter attack.

Real Madrid's Croatian midfielder Luka Modrić warned his teammates of the German Borussia Dortmund, whom they would meet Wednesday in the first leg of the quarter final of the European Champions League.

The player said in statements transmitted by the official site of the European Union football on the Internet: "We know how Dortmund play , they are very dangerous in there counter-attacks, we need to be cautious when we miss the ball, we should return quickly to the defense".

He added: "winning 2-0 would be great for us tomorrow, and we will try to score most of the goals", confirming that maintain a clean sheets in a home match would gave them a better advantage to qualify to the Semi-final.

It is worth mentioning that Dortmund is suffering from many absent especially the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski who scored 4 goals last year against Real Madrid due to Yellow Cards.
