Ancelotti will rest Ronaldo and Di Maria against Real Sociedad
The Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti technical director of Real Madrid said that the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo will not participate with the team in there match Saturday in front of Real Sociedad in the Spanish league after severe stress, which was evident in the end of the team's match with German Borussia Dortmund in the European Champions League.
Ancelotti said: "Cristiano will get some rest to restore his energy. he's Exhausted. We have done this so as to avoid risk. The team includes many of the players, we would prefer to leave Ronaldo in Madrid. he will train tomorrow and the day after in preparation for the second leg match against Dortmund next Tuesday,".
He added: "he will be more active next Tuesday. we hope he can be able to restore its vitality after pressure matches. it depend on how much days can we give him. We talked together and we decided together that it would be better to get the rest, despite his desire to participate in all games".
Argentinean international star Angel Di Maria returned to the team after recovering from infections in the stomach.despite this, Ancelotti confirmed that the player will not be in the starting 11 explaining "Di Maria recovered and managed to get to the list, but he will not start the match. he lost a lot of weight and trained individually"
